Balanced groups with real constraints: keep two people apart, keep a pair together, and avoid repeating last round’s pairings.
Most group generators shuffle and hope. This one treats your rules as hard constraints: if two students must be kept apart, no produced group ever contains both — and if the rules cannot all be satisfied, the tool says so instead of silently giving you an invalid split.
Teachers keep talkative pairs apart and split the rest evenly. Event organizers bind co-hosts together and distribute everyone else. Youth coaches rotate groups weekly while avoiding last week’s combinations — the history memory does that automatically.
Every configuration produces a seed, so when a participant asks "why am I with them again?", the honest answer is a verifiable draw, not a shrug.
The tool tells you explicitly and refuses to produce an invalid split. Loosen one constraint — for example one keep-apart pair — and draw again.
Pairings from your previous draw on this page are penalized during the search, so fresh combinations are preferred without ever breaking your hard rules.
Up to 12 groups, and every group always ends up within one person of the others.
